The funeral was nice. Long, but nice. It lasted from before 3pm to about 7pm, and probably over 100 people showed up. My grandpa was a popular guy. It was an open casket, which was depressing... I kept thinking back to Christle and Jenny and their funerals. They all look like plastic versions of themselves. Quite surreal.
Got back from CT Tuesday night. The plane was delayed an hour and a half (on a positive note, the guy at the gate in Laguardia was hilarious and is now one of my favorite people. He made the delay actually kind of enjoyable.) I had a test at 5:30pm, and I got to school around 6. It worked out ok though, test took me 15 minutes. All the stress of rushing around took a toll though, and ever since I've been having some awesome intestinal issues. Searing abdominal cramps are the best, guys. Got some meds yesterday, though, so hopefully all will be well in due time.
If I'm feeling well enough after work today, we'll be going over to John's at least for a bit. Adam comes home today - HURRAY ADAM! - so I gotta get some AdamTime in. Big group (well... pretty big I guess) going to see Borat on Saturday. Apparently it's pretty hilarious and awesome, so that should be fun. This weekend is also the reptile show, so I want to hit that up on Sunday (Gregg, you mentioned a long time ago about maybe wanting to go?) There are 2 other reptile shows coming up, too, which is wacky but cool. I heart reptiles.
We're down to 2 kittens, Orbison and Linka. Adoptions have been picking up, which is always good. I don't want Orby and Linka to go, tho... I'm so attached to them now. I can't help it that they're the best kittens ever.
That's all, folks. Thanks to everyone for the kind words/thought over the weekend.
