saw Cars, Nacho Libre, and The Lake House tonight with erik - took in a triple feature at AMC after adoptions, which was awesome considering we only paid for one movie. hah! Cars was better than i expected, Nacho was a little less than i hoped for but still amusing at times (i'm sure it will grow on me a la Napolean Dynamite), and i loved the Lake House. i know. it looks like the most retarded thing ever. but i heart it. i don't even know why. this was actually our second time seeing it too, and i still heart it. i didnt think i would like it based on the previews, and obviously the premise is way out there (but what isnt these days?) but they pulled it off really well and yeah... heart. and i dont even like chick flicks normally! im a sucker.

adoptions have been ok. last week Gabe, Tang and Soleil got adopted, and this week Little Man and Callisto went. the time in between has been drawn out and unpleasant. last sunday was obviously a downer, but add to that an extra little family tragedy and well... it was a pretty awful day.

i found out today that my grandpa is in the hospital. he had a blood transfusion today, because he was so anemic. they also found a tumor on his lung. they don't know if it's cancerous of not yet, but he was a smoker for 60 years so... yeah. we might be going back up to CT sooner than we thought.

adoptions again tomorrow. that's all i have for now.
