i passed all my spring classes! shocking, i know ;) i've started maymester, and while my classes seem pretty interesting/easy, i'm still so reluctant to go. i know i have to though. i played hookie today, but i had a good reason. one of the kittens we have (we have a total of 10... feel free to come and play with them!) had a prolapsed anus. it wwas not pleasant. so i took him to the vet this morning. which would have been ok. except that when i came home, i discovered that the service pipe that runs into our house from the water main is leaking really severely and is flooding our yard. someone from the water co came out to assess it and determine that it wasnt a county issue. if the pipe were made of polybutylene the home warranty would cover it, but it isnt; it's galvanized - which also means that we can't just patch it, we have to replace the whole thing. 70-90ft of pipe. not covered by homeowners ins either. estimates have run from 1200-1600$. fucking AWESOME. so i had to sit around all day - with the water turned off - while various plumbers came by to give me exhorbitant estimates. w00t.
in other news, we saw Poseidon with Stephanie and Stephen last night - i heart them! guess who gets to be a bridesmaid.... ;)!
