Most nights, I go to sleep with my headphones on so I can listen to Boards of Canada or Radiohead while I fall asleep. It was no different last night.
I kept on waking up from weird dreams. I don't remember all of them, but I know that it would take me a while to realize that I was in my room-- not in Poland, for example. I fell asleep again, with music. Again-- weird dreams.
I told Jesse about it, because I don't have dreams that I remember very often any more. I told him I dreamed about Naturalists one time, of boats another time, and of being a pursued Jew in WWII era Poland. Weird, huh? I find if strange now that I didn't realize it myself, be he asked what I'm reading in school right now that might be similar to my dreams. I told him I've read Maus (which would explain the Poland dream,) The Sea Wolf (accounts for the boats,) and Naturalists-- well, that can be explained by an entire English class. He said everything I'm taking in must be getting jumbled up in my head.
I thought that was particularly interesting.
