I've been so busy lately, which explains why I haven't posted in FOREVER. It doesn't mean so much to me that I don't post so often, since only three people-- if that much-- read my infrequent posts. Yet it still weighs on my mind when I don't post. Oh, inner conflicts!
My friend Abraham got pet chickens since the last time I posted. He ordered them in bulk, kept three, and sold the rest to a farmer. They're adorable chicks. He gave one of the ones he kept to Ceci. They're Ross and Rachal from friends. The chicks are their Emma. Anyway, they named them Jedi, Eowen, and Elaine. He has them spoiled like house cats. I really like them, and I'm glad that no one will ever have them for dinner.
We had to read Paradise Lost in my English class, and I really enjoyed it. In it, I learned a new word for a whale-- leviathan. Isn't it great.
I registered for next semester, too. My advisor is really nice; she even helped me pick my minor (communications: print media). Anywho, I'm about a semester ahead of where I should be; the faster I finish school, the better. I also found out that me and Jesse are going to take a class together next semester. He has this Anthropology class he has to take since he changed his major, and I have to take the same one. We shall take it together. I've always wanted to have a class with him. I'm kind of excited.
I'm sad because I have to tie my hair up today. It's the homecoming game today. Since it's gotten cooler, I've been able to wear my hair down every day, but I'm not going to chance that today, what with death march and all. Alas, I'll have to tie it up. Urgh. I wonder if I should do a half pony tail, or all of it. If I do all of it, I'll need about ten pins, because my hair's so short. Speaking of which, it's getting kind of long, and I think I'll get it trimmed this week.
I've got shows! Yes, I have two shows I watch on TV. I watch TV! If you have never seen these shows, you should at least try them; they're the funniest things ever! Arrested Development and The Office. Great!
Well, I'm off to shower and while away my whole Saturday doing band stuff.
Ta.
P.S.- Good luck to the Trooper Band, who compete today at NMSU. I'd watch if I could. Make top 10!
