Creative-tive-ness.
Right. So. After talking about making one since, what, 2007? 2006? I FINALLY got around to making the Pyramid Head Plushie.
He's out of yarn, rather than cloth like we originally planned, and not as chubby as the original design. And I did it totally without a pattern, and with yarn that was too large for the finished size of the plushie (I wasn't sure I'd have enough beige-y color for the skin to do one the size I'd like to), and a needle that was too small for the yarn. So, even though it's sort of wonky (the arms are deformed, and the pyramid's sort of... lopsided, I guess), I think it turned out remarkably well.
I just have to add the blood splatters to the apron and it'll be complete.
I'll post a picture of him on my DA account later this week, along with the purse I made forever ago, and the little caddy thingie that I made to hold my crochet gear (It's supposed to go over a tissue box, but I modified it to fit over a Crown Royale box so I'd have a little trashcan for my yarn scraps.... And I thought the Crown box was pretty and didn't want to throw it away. Because cutting it up is so much better. XD). Possibly a picture of the Kenny plushie (screwed up the face... Didn't have felt to make the eyes, so I figured acrylic paint would be yarn compatable.... Which, it MIGHT have been, had I went about it a different way than I did.) I made for Joshy last year.
The PHP's first act of life was to kill the Kenny plushie. With one of those oversized plastic needles that you use to sew pieces of yarn together with.
I'm torn between making a sweater harness thingie for Babit (he keeps slipping out of the harness we bought him, but I think I figured out the flaw in it that allows him to escape, so I'll be able to eliminate that.) or a pair of lacy, fingerless gloves for myself, next. Or a lacy choker thing for myself. Or some bunny sippies slippers. For myself.
Something to irritate Joshy with (he doesn't think animals should be forced to wear clothes, though I'm sure the [guy] ferret would look beautimus in a pink and purple sock-type-thing.), ooooor something that I'll probably never wear/something that'll get hidden under the couch with the rest of Babit's swag?
Choices, choices....
And Kroger's trying the screw me out of 8 hours of work time. My check this week's, like, $70, and it should be a bit over $100. Which means they only paid me for one of the two days I worked last week. Which means that the new guy lied and didn't take care of the time clock confusion like he said he would.
So I'm going to have to go back in there to sort this shit out.
I hope new guy's there for me to yell at.
