Went to the Met Opera's Free HD Summer Concert last night to listen/see Tchaikovsky's Eugene Onegin with Dmitri Hvorostovsky in the role of the same name.
Oh my God. I am in love. who needs chris pine when you can listen to hvorostovsky's gorgeous, gorgeous voice? and in that opera! tchaikovsky was a genius. it pays to be miserable in life.
