Harrisburg, Pa. (AP) - The Pennsylvania Supreme Court is pulling the law license of a former top House Democratic aide who's among the defendants in the ongoing legislative corruption probe.
The court on Monday issued an order temporarily suspending Jeff Foreman's law license and referred the matter to the board overseeing lawyer discipline.
The 58-year-old Foreman is one of 12 people associated with the House Democratic caucus to be charged in the attorney general's investigation into alleged misuse of government resources for campaigning and other improper purposes.
He's signed an agreement with prosecutors that calls for him to plead guilty to conflict of interest, conspiracy and two counts of theft.
Neither Foreman nor his lawyer Royce Morris returned phone messages seeking comment Wednesday.
