NO MORE PAIN album review
HELLO minna!
im kinda free nowadays since it's my holiday and work ended not long ago, so i decided to write a review on this album! since i've listened to all the songs already! okok i know im SLOW. ^^ forgive me since im sooo busy before this. haha. AND, the idea of writin a review struck me after watching n.m.p pv! the pv is AMAZING! see, im too excited over this. lol. i think i shall get on to the review ya?.. lest u guys start throwin stones at me. HAHA.
oh. and before u guys read. i shall warn u all. since it's a review, it's my OWN opinion. don take it to heart ok? it's just what i think of their songs ya?.. and. feel free to comment on my review and add in ur own opinion! i know everyone has got their own opinions! share it! BUT do not be rude ya?.. be open to ppl's opinions! peace! ^^
1. N.M.P (NO MORE PAIN) - 9.5/10
i know, this is just the first song. but i really have to do this! (referrin to the high score). this song deserves a standing ovation! ^^ I LOVE N.M.P. of cos, in terms of style, i can only say. IT'S SO KAT-TUN! haha. right from the intro. the instrumental is LOVE! the music touches my heart. the orchestra/symphonic band is really good. i can feel a lot of emotions in the music. i dont know why, but listening to the intro music made me feel sad. yet, the atmosphere immediately changed after the chimes rang. i loved that change. when i'm about to immerse myself deep into the gentle music, the fast music wakes me up and gives me tension up eh. haha. now, my fave part>>> MARU'S FIRST SOLO PART! as the music quietened down and maru's voice came in. awwww that voice! melted me! and i esp love the JUSTICE NAI MAMA part. im so selective eh. =x and i like ueda and maru singing tgt! cos they blended well tgt but even so, i could hear their voices rather distinctly. kame's autotuning part is good! ive seen the pv making too. and it takes skills for him to sing that part! it's pretty good! and their pv is just AMAZING. oops. the 2nd time im sayin this. ^^ i think it's just soooo cool! kame's eye makeup. woah. and ueda's butterfly is loved! hehs. but i didnt give it a 10/10 cos i still need jin to be here to add to the difference. aww.
2. Love Yourself ~ Kimi ga Kirai na Kimi ga Suki - 7.5/10
nice song. naturally, this song fit wonderfully into the drama. and my fave part is definitely jin's english part. but i didnt give it a higher score cos i would get bored after listening a few times more. =x
3. FARAWAY - 9.5/10
I LOVE THIS SONG! perhaps, not many ppl love this song as much as i do. cos i guess many kat-tun fans love their rock songs much more?.. but somehow. this song attracted me alot! the first time i listened to it, i fell in love already. and it took me only about 1 second to know that i will definitely like this song cos the beats are really really nice! and i love kame as the starting voice. he sounded sooo gentle. and then came maru's voice. awww. great! ^^ and the whole song. really. i love this song. and. is that junno and koki harmonising tgt with their lalala?.. i supposed so?.. if my hearing didnt fail me. that part is really good too! its not always that i approve of junno's voice eh! so. YAY for junno! =D oh and the lyrics>> Tada asu dake wo shinjiteru. let's continue believin in kat-tun eh?.. ^^ again, i hope jin could be in this.
4. THE D-MOTION - 8.5/10
it took me a few plays to get hook. haha. but this song is great! totally makes one wanna dance to the tune eh! haha. seems like many ppl are complainin bout too much autotuning here n there?.. but im not complaining! ^^ cos i love the effect! for d-motion, it suits the autotuning feel. haha. and jingrish fits the song perfectly don't u agree?.. =x even if it means singing out bit*h. hehs. and jin's voice and singing is just perfect for this song! since this is more of his style too eh?.. and. ueda's tongue rolling!! his RRRRROCK ur baby. is awesome! =D but theres some parts where kame's voice sounded weird/gay cos of the autotuning! cos kame's voice is on the higher pitch. thats a pity.
5. RIGHT NOW - 6.5/10
hahaha! maru's beatbox is super cute!! and the music that played after the beatbox. nice! suddenly, i feel that this song gives out a korean feel?.. esp the 'right now..' i dont know why, just feel that way. hmm?.. but don trust me on that, cos the number of korean songs i listened to is really limited. =p but i wont be listenin to this song much. it didnt give me the vibe like n.m.p did. i wont feel like OH MAN I MUST LISTEN TO THIS AGAIN! most of the credit for this song goes to maru actually. for his beatbox. im proud of his beatboxin skills! ^^
6. ROCKIN' ALL NITE - 5/10
how does this song really sound like?.. it doesnt leave much impression on me after listenin to it. does anyone love this song?.. if so, i will really make myself listen much more so that i might just like it better?.. ^^ but i didnt fail it cos kat-tun sound cute. hahaha. they sound so lively. gives me a shounen club feel! dont u think so?!! haha!
7. Going! - 7.5/10
it's nice! i don really know what to comment on Going! but, i hope people could accept lively kat-tun and not only rockish kat-tun! and it's a really good song for the sports show. sounds so motivating! ^^
8. SWEET - 6.5/10
kame's solo. sometimes i think dear kame puts in too much force and sounds strained at some parts. i still prefer aishiteiru kara eh, kame! hehs.
9. LOVE MUSIC - 6.5/10
junno's solo. the intro music is very nice! the song's ok. but. im still not ok with junno's voice. don take offence eh junno fans! or fans of junno's voice. but i guess junno sounds best in such style already. so i couldnt pick on it too much either? but his rap is sooo cute! haha.
10. MAKE U WET - no score
koki's solo. uhm, to be fair. im not rating it. im never a fan of koki's songs! cos i couldnt appreciate his style! so sorry bout it! if i were to rate it, it will probably just fetch at most 4/10?.. i rather i don rate it eh. gomen!
11. RABBIT OR WOLF - 6.5/10
isit my hallucination or not? why does it seems like ueda's junno's and maru's solo start with roughly the same style of music? HAHA. ok back to ueda's solo. uhm. kudos to ueda for the good lyrics. deep meaning. i love how he's thinking of stuffs that are deeper. and writing it down and share it with everyone through his music. and he sang really fast! i guess i'll never be able to sing this song. haha! but it's not a melodic song eh. so it wouldnt be rated very high either.
12. FILM - 8.5/10
maru's solo. i love this song! ^^ maru's voice is good! or at least, i love his voice. =D and this song gets me moving while listenin to it! the melody and the beats are really nice.
13. PROMISE SONG - 8/10
the one and only ballad in this album! it's common for kat-tun to have little ballad anyway. and as with most ballads, it takes a few plays for me to really start liking the song. and, ballads seldom sound bad eh?.. uhm. but comparing promise song to their previous ballads, i still think their previous ones are better. just that, thinking how kat-tun are putting so much effort and heart into this album and their concerts, made me wanna give them a higher score for this. cos as i listened to this song, i felt touched. kame started well. his voice is sooo gentle. awwwww. then comes maru's voice. i think maru put in a little too much force for this eh. but ueda pulls it back. I LOVE UEDA'S PART THERE! its so soft and gentle! i know i would sound a little biased but im really not a fan of junno's voice. T.T really really sorry bout it! i think junno need to work on controllin his voice better perhaps?.. cos it's a ballad, but he used so much force to sing it. and i seldom mention bout koki cos he's just ok. not too great but not too bad either. =D overall its still a good song. PROMISE SONG! it would definitely make fans cry during concerts!
