Back from Okinawa
I got back from Okinawa on Saturday. I got met at the station by my friend Kazue and by Mika. They came over to my place and I showed them pictures, gave presents, and made dinner. Sunday I did a lot of laundry and went out to lunch with Keishi, and then hung out with Mika and Kazue and Mika's friend Yuki. It was pretty fun. We went to some game centers.
I had a meeting with my bosses since they are back. The good news is that I'm able to work there for one more year. So I'm not being fired, which is good, I guess. But lately I've been feeling kind of crappy. My trip to Okinawa was kind of fun, but I had a stomachache every day. I think that because they use a lot of lard in their cooking that I might have gotten sick because of that. So lame.
But yeah, it's getting a tiny bit warmer, but it's still not comfortable. We'll have a couple weeks of nice weather and then we'll move into the gross rainy season followed by the sweltering summer. I'm totally looking forward to it. Not.
I'm going to try to save up money to make a trip home this fall. I hope that I can do it, but it's frustrating to spend two days of the vacation traveling only and then only be there for less than a week. It's going to suck, but if I want to go home I'll have to manage.
