I went to Immigration to hand in my documentation to renew my visa. My fingers are crossed that they'll give me another year visa instead of a 6 month one since my contract is technically only six months . . . I have a friend who applied for a 1 year visa and randomly got a 3 year one, so I know it happens. I'd like to get a longer one, but we'll

It sounds so interesting to live in Japan! I don't pretend to understand how things work or whatever, but it sounds so cool! The convenience store especially- better than Cumbys! LOL

The convenience stores are TOTALLY amazing. Like, the food tastes good, the products are always fresh...and what's better, the shopkeepers are always smiling and greeting you...unlike in America where sometimes cashiers (think Price Chopper, lol) always look like they want to die.
