Overdone
I think I kind of overdid it at the gym yesterday. I had wanted to go today, but I didn't have enough time, so I decided that I'll just go tomorrow after work. *nod*
Yesterday when I was driving home from work I had an issue with my car almost over-heating. I thought I had added enough coolant to the car, but it almost overheated on the interstate and I had to pull over and add more....but of course I had to sit and wait a bit until the car cooled down first. ;_; It was worrisome, and in the interim, my car hadn't actually heated up at all, so I was sitting on the side of the interstate in a cold car with numb fingers. It sucked, but at least I made it home. @___@ I need to bring my car in to see exactly what's wrong with it.
I talked to Jesse about my schedule and he fixed it (he just made a mistake) and I managed to land another shift. Now I'm working around 34 hours this week, which is really exciting as I need the money! I made a budget thingy and found out that if I don't spend any money on anything besides gas that I'll be able to pay off three of my credit cards before I leave. That's exciting, but I still have one random credit card that has been canceled for a year or so and ....blergh. Whatever. I'm going to focus on paying off the ones I can! I need about $1,000 to do that. I hope I can do it. I am probably going to go into debt to myself (aka spending money that I actually shouldn't be spending as it is for Japan...) so that kind of sucks, but at least I'll get them paid off.
I'm going to write a few e-mails to my school asking about any kind of extra funding for study abroad that they could give me. According to my budget, I'm going to need a lot more....especially since I have to pay for housing, food, utilities and everything else using only $3000. It's just not enough. ;~; I'm going to write that e-mail tonight or tomorrow.
I hung out with Mom and Addie today. We went to Goodwill and then Once Upon a Child and then we went to Chef's Corner. It was yummy and while we were there we decided that the family isn't going to go out to eat again until April, we're going to 'give it up' for the month of March. That should be nice and it should save us money. We went to K-Mart after that and I got some coolant and a few new bras as I direly needed them. New things, yay!
Luckily we are only open at Moe's until 9pm, so I might get back home around 10:30. Yay. I'm working monday morning and then I have Tuesday off. I guess my Mom wants us to go and get some formal portraits taken before I head to Japan. That should be fun. Alright, I'm going to go and get ready for work now.
