Awkward!Melissa is Awkward
Yeah, what a day it's been thus far. I wanted to work on and finish my exam for Polisci last night, but instead I procrastinated. Like usual. Haha. So I ended up giving up and going to bed and deciding to wake up early to work on it. Did I mention that I had to go to the Financial Aid Office at noon (because of some weird mix-up...I was working at Security and not getting my work study, so I had offered to help out where I'm going to be working for the summer...or so I thought.)
Anyway, I woke up an hour later than I had planned to...Well, not exactly. I kind of figured that I'd try and sleep longer and I set the alarm for earlier that I needed to (sneaky), so I went to work on my paper/exam/thingy. Blaaaah. Two hours later (I started at 8:30 and then this was about 10:30) I decided to take a shower. I took a shower and then finished my exam thingy around 11:10. I realized that I would need to leave the apartment at 11:35 to catch the bus to go to Whitmore. Despite only having about four hours of sleep, I got ready and left.
I went to Herter to buy a coffee. The ladies there were really nice, and then some dude came in and asked for directions. I wasn't listening, until he left, and then I spun around and said aloud, "Oh! I should have helped him." The ladies working agreed. Awkward!Melissa is Awkward.
I hurry away to Whitmore and sit drinking down my coffee so I can go to new job. My MP3 player starts playing through its speaker and I fiddle with it for like a minute before I can shut it off.
Awkward!Melissa is Awkward in front of the Bursar's Office.
I go down to my new job and it turns out that I actually have my work study being used, whoops. My mistake. I talk too much and laugh and leave, saying. "Well, I guess I have a lot of free time, now!"
Awkward!Melissa is awkward and runs out of Whitmore.
Melissa runs into girl she met on Tuesday.
Awkward!Melissa is even more awkward and scurries off after a short, awkward conversation.
Melissa runs into two people from her Japanese class that she skipped last night and had to make weird small talk. Awkward!Melissa is still awkward.
I'm really hoping that I ran through all of my awkwardness for the day. Although I doubt it. I'm going to make sure I try to avoid any and all conversation with anyone else on campus. @___@

So yeah. The bad thing about having all this free time is that I can't turn in my exam for Polisci until 2:30, and I know that if I head home, I ain't coming back to campus. No sir. Not after four hours of sleep. At least the coffee is keeping me sort of awake. Sort of. I'm in the Mac lab, and this keyboard really hurts my wrist. I just stuck a book under it and it is a bit better, but yeah. I still have to wait here until 2:30, and I have no idea what to do. I get bored on the internet sooooo fast, it isn't even funny. I don't know how other people spend their time, but the more bored I get, the more likely I am to go to Neopets. Hahahah.
The Dude next to me is looking at power point slides about bugs. hahaha. Oh the computer lab and your sneaky spying you can do. *lol* I feel bad when I glance over, but I'm curious.
Aw, now he's gone.
Maybe I'll just go and drop my paper in my TA's mailbox since he sent an e-mail out that said that he'd only be there for 15 minutes and if we couldn't meet the time frame then we'd have to drop it in his mailbox. Due to the above awkwardness, though, I'd rather just go and hand it in to him in class. -___-; Despite the fact that it's an hour away....*can't decide*
And now I'm writing nothing just for the sake of something to do, so I'll end this.
