Blerg, I think my Nap is busted
So...Sky arrived and we left around 4am. We had a really awesome time driving back and the road was mostly clear and thre weren't that many people on the road. When we got back, it was around 8:30ish. We both decided we needed a nap, so she went home, and I wandered around the apartment for a little, and then collapsed into Holly's bed, having stayed up all night made me tired. But about an hour later, I couldn't sleep. I kept waking up because of all the noise I wasn't used to hearing...my apartment is so loud compared to North. .__. And then I was lying in bed (after only having slept an hour) and trying to go back to sleep and Sky called me. Holly wanted to be picked up from school. She had expected a snow day and had stayed up all night, so she felt really yucky and wanted to go home. (We made a lot of jokes about how MUCH sleep she got compared to Sky and my all-nighter, though.) So I went with Sky and we picked up Holly to help her play hooky, and then we went to The Olive Garden and made lots of jokes about Burger King. XDDDDD Oh, the hilarity. "Melissa, we're in The Olive Garden, have some class. What do you think this is, Burger King?" XDD
Holly also famously said, "What did you expect? I was fifteen and in NYC, that's PRIME raping age!" I laughed and laughed. Hahaha. It's nice to be back home with people. As weird as my family is, I love them so much. XD
And then Holly and I came back, as Sky needed to get her grandpa some honey, and Holly and I took a nap. I randomly woke up from it and couldn't fall back asleep. I guess that's what I get from staying up all night...or something. I had this weird dream about this old guy trying to teach me about gay Greek history....with fireworks. And seahorses. It was weird, because he was like, lecturing me admist a fireworks display, and when I got a question right, he'd crack of a bunch of pretty fireworks. XD And I think in the dream I was both, trying to figure out a crime, and also try to go to visit Betsy, but in the dream, Betsy was played by this blonde haired girl. Hahaha. My dreams are so weird.
Bleeeeh. I'm so groggy right now, I'm barely able to type correctly. I'm really excited and can't wait until Addie and Mommy come home. ^__^ I love surprising Addie by being here. :D
