I had this really creepy dream...I don't know. It was a nightmare, but I didn't wake up scared or anything. It was sort of odd.
I dreamt that I was investigating the scene of a murder--it had been a movie set, and all of the actors had dissapeared. We were pretty sure that they had been murdered. We went to this little cottage near the scene, and it was empty so we went inside. Then this lady popped out of nowhere and was like, "Hey! Can I help you?" The guy I was with (I think he was my dectective partner) was like, "Yeah," and then explained the situation to the lady. So my partner and all the other detectives went with us into the house and the lady said that she thought that she might have something to help us in the basement, and so we went down there. But all we came across was this huge room. We were standing there, and suddenly it started moving like a conveyor belt. We started running so we wouldn't get sucked down, and we grabbed the lady, and she was on it, too. She started yelling at us to run, we had to run or else we'd get sucked in, and what was at the end of the conveyer belt? A meat grinder that would kill us all. So we ran, and ran and ran...and finally we were able to get off of it. The lady told us that we were the first to ever escape it, and now she was proud of it.
I asked her if I could help her...I pretended to be amazed by her genius. She said that it was okay if I did. And then I was pretending to be totally in awe of the lady, and my partner kept coming up to me and whispering, "What, I know that she's keeping us here against our will, but you don't REALLY believe that, do you?" I couldn't tell him the truth because I knew that it would mean that we would be killed, so I lied and told him that yeah, the lady was amazing. Since all of our police force died, I knew that we had to live, so if I pretended to cooperate with the lady, maybe I could save us both.
A group of trick or treaters...or maybe it was cosplayers came, and the lady would have none of it, so into the conveyer belt they went. And they had to go because they ran into the house and started ransacking the place upstairs that hid the beld, it looked like a hotel bed. So I hit the button so that the belt would bring them to the grinder, and the second I did, I saw Eric and Addie get swallowed up. ;~~~; But, luckily, she had been killing so many people that the place where the bodies went was full, so Addie and Eric were still alive, but just in a tube thing.
And then I woke up. ;~; I think the dream had something to do with my wariness of our garbage disposal. Haha.
Anyway....I haven't written much lately, and I've wanted to, I just haven't gotten around to it. Last night I couldn't sleep. I was lying in bed, I was tired, I was all ready to go to sleep, and yet...I couldn't. My brain just WOULD NOT shut off. I was worrying about all these stupid things that I couldn't do anything about. Worrying about my life in the future. Worrying about getting a job in this job market. Worrying about money. Thinking about the fact that Holly is all growed up and applying to college! Thinking about all the times that people did wicked nice things for me. Thinking about letters and mail and Christmas presents...
So I gave up and called Betsy. I mean, who else can you call at one in the morning? XD It continued our 7-day streak of talking on the phone each night. So I lay in bed, in the dark, on the phone with Betsy as she was working on some of her art projects. We talked for an hour and a half. XD By the time I got off the phone, I felt a lot better about everything. I...can't really explain it, it was just nice to talk to someone about it. ^^ And then after we got off the phone, I got up to go to the bathrom and Megan was in the hallway and she was like, "Hey, I thought you went to bed awhile ago!" Hahah, I did, but I couldn't sleep. And then Liz said from her room, "OH! So I DID hear talking." Hahah. XD
At work the other night, my supervisor dumped coffee on my Japanese notebook and my Junjou Romantica vol. 10. (So not only did she spill MY coffee on it, she barely apoligized. Grr.) I was SOOO upset by this. ;~~; I mean, come on. I read those books all the time...I've probably read them over and over again more than any other manga I've ever owned. Sooo depressing. But when I told Betsy about it, she said that she would buy me a new one for Christmas. *____* I'm so loved.
Haha, yesterday I was at the IPO and Lauren and Alex came in, and someone asked if it had been busy and I said, "Oh, it's mostly people hanging in folders." And then Alex and Lauren were like, "?" and I said, "And by folders...I mean paperwork. And by hanging...I mean....handing in..." Hahaha. And then I was like, "Oh, but you know, a 'g' is just a 'd' upside-down, right?" And Lauren was like, 'No....no it's not." And then I said, "Upside down and backwards!!! SHUT UP! >___>' Hahahahaha. It was hilarious.
Well....I have an astronomy exam at one, so I should probably look over stuff before it. And eat lunch. *nod* (AND...I should probably stop skipping my Tuesday and Thursday morning classes....>___>)
