Well, At The Very Least
I survived this last week. XD It's been pretty long, and work was pretty tough, but I made it. I helped Megan today by giving her one of my shifts and then walking her through a bunch of procedure-y stuff. I'm glad I could help her. ^_^ And then we both went to the security meeting and I found out that since I put in my preferences extra early by accident, I got a TON of great shifts, all in North A. :D :D :D :D :D Sweetness. I'm working on Thanksgiving, but then not again until Sunday. It's okay, I just need to work to save up money to do things like pay bills and save up for Christmas presents for everyone. ^_^
I went to get my laundry out of the dryer and the second I walked in the dryer was done. That was pretty sweet, however, I went to grab an armload of laundry to put it on the table to fold it, and I stepped on a dryer sheet that someone else left on the floor and slipped, landing on the table, scratching up my left forearm. So then I picked up all the random dryer sheets and had to fold my laundry with a random pain in my left arm. -___-; And on Friday night, I was sitting on an excercise ball and I fell off it and landed on a heater and I have this huge heater-shaped black and blue all along my back. Not so cool when you have to wear a backpack and carry groceries...and then the groceries tend to fall directly on your boo-boo. ;~;
So basically I'm being my normal clumsy self. I also have about four paper cuts. XD Awesome. Smooth move.
I feel like I didn't get anything done this weekend. I only wrote about a page on my Nano (I'm kind of stuck..sort of...) I know that I won't finish the story before the deadline, I will get to 50,000 words, though. I've been stalling at the 46,000 word range for the past week. *shrug* I'm actually incredibly surprised I was able to be this successful, I was sure I'd fail. :D
Uhm...let me see. Besides working Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday night...I'm not really doing much. Everyone is going home for Thanksgiving and I'm going to celebrate it on Wednesday night with kittybum so that should be fun. ^__^ Thanksgiving Day I'm working, as I said before, so the rest of the week I'll probably catch up on school work. *nod*
It's amazing how you can feel so crappy about life and then talk to someone who really, really loves you...and they can make you feel better in ways that you don't even know. It's kind of creepy to have someone know you so well....but then again, it's also amazing. <3 ....If only, if only....XD
Alrightly, I need to get up in about six hours to go to my OTHER job, which I'm not looking forward to...but you know. XD I hope I can get up early enough to brave the cold and walk to work.
Oh man....I bought TWO PAIRS of gloves at the store, and managed to lose them one day after another. Even though I lost the second pair on Friday and Ken found them for me...I managed to lose them again somehow. I think they are lurking around my room, but I kind of want to punch myself in the face for being so dumb. XDDDD I fail at glove-keeping, I ought to get some mittens-on-a-string.
