Getting There

Ken: Give me my game, I have very important business that I need to attend to.
Melissa: Like what?
Ken: I am talking with the guy in town who builds stuff.
Melissa: Is he going to build you a wife?
Ken: ...No, he's going to build me something to stick my wood in.
Melissa: O.o;; That's what I said, a wife.
*lolz*

I am going to be sad when I don't have a daily Ken quote. I'm sure people are getting sick of it, but meh. :P It will be over soon enough.
Today I slept in until 1:30pmish. Ken and I went out to dinner, and I wanted to eat something Japanese-y, so we went to kaiten zushi...aka conveyor belt sushi. ^.^ It was good, but we had to order my pudding at the end through this scary loud squak box thing, and then they didn't understand us, and my pudding didn't come, so we had to ask a random worker to bring it to us. -___-; But when we put our names down and then waited, the waiter looked at the list, and sat there for like a minute trying to pronounce Ken's last name, and then his co-worker just pointed to us and I heard her say, "It's those gaijin over there." Hahaha, thanks lady. >.>
When we were walking the 45 minutes that it took to get back, it had begun to pour. Luckily we had brought our umbrellas, but the pants I was wearing were super long, and they got soaked all the way up my leg, almost to my knees.
Besides that, I've basically done nothing today. Oh wait, scratch that, I made burned toast by frying bread, and almost choked on it, won the biggest bug award in Animal Crossing, and did laundry. Quite an assorted array of accomplishments, I think. :D
In other news, I have stuffing packing to do. That's going to be a gas. *lol* I can't wait to go home, seriously. :D
In other OTHER news, I may or may not be mentally thinking about things that would indispose me most of the summer. ^^; We'll see how that works out.
I think I'm done with this entry. It's light out already. *lol* I'm not even really that tired yet. At this rate, I'm going to have no jet lag. Score!

array of accomplishments, eating out, ken, quote, gaijin no hanashi
