Charming As Ever
First off, I have a complaint. I never have claimed myself to be a technical genius. Sure, I can find my way around a webpage, and I certainly am not afraid of using the computer, but there has been something that keeps happening in my Yahoo Mail account that has been bugging me for quite some time.
Whenever I want to send myself a paper so that I can print it out in the library, it always sends the mail from MYSELF into my bulk mail folder. Now, this isn't really that much of a problem, but it's annoying, so I even added MYSELF to my address book, and it's STILL sending everything I send to myself into my junk mail folder. Not like it's hard to go in there and retrieve it, but it's just annoying. >.> Ergh.
ANYway, I said that I was going to update about what happened with CJS, but I didn't, so here we go. I went in, told them that I wanted out, and that I didn't feel like my host family really wanted to be a host family, blah blah blah, and they said that they agreed with me, and thought that this house was not a good environment for me. They also said that if my home life is bad, then my grades will start to suffer, and they didn't want that. So the lady offered to search out all of my options for changes (other homestays, other dorms, etc) and that she would get back to me. I waited all week and I haven't heard anything from her, so I'm still in limbo. Meh. Not a good feeling, but yeah. At least I know that something is happening on that end. And I have to stay until March anyway, so I'm just sticking around for the time being.
In other news, Aya invited me and anyone I wanted to also invite out to dinner, so I invited Nathalie and Besty, and we met up at Nagoya Eki, and went to the SWEETEST restaurant EVER. XD; It was a cake and pasta buffet. XD; It was really awesome and delicious. :D I want to go again sometime. It was really fun, and after that, we did Purikura and Aya and Betsy went home. Then Nathalie and I went to find our stuff, and we went to the train, and I rode her train line as far as Tsurumai, and then we parted ways. Nathalie and I also have plans to go out to karaoke tomorrow night. It is going to be fun. <3 We also invited two other people, so I'm not sure what our numbers will be, but I'm excited to go. It's weird having like, an actual social life where I go OUT and do things. I've always had friends before, but we always stayed in and did stuff. It's nice and kinda fun to have friends to go out and do stuff with. (Not to mention fun things to do.)
So as it stands right now, I'm enjoying myself and trying to not worry about things. <3 I hope that things keep going smoothly.
