Three Entries In One Day? No Way!
I know, I'm sorry, spam and all the like. But I went into the other room and hung out with my host family for a few hours, and Rei said something to me that made me feel really, really loved, ‘めりさがいなくなったら、いやだね。’which basically means, (Literal translation: If you die/are not here, it's bad.) I don't want you to leave/die. Haha, interesting double meaning.
I felt really touched, I know she's only 2, but awww. At least someone in the family likes me a lot. She's been really silly today, calling me 'Melissa Mama' and 'Melissa Papa'. Ahaha. Why is it that I always turn into parental figures for kids that aren't mine? <3 Ah, the childrens, sooo cute. <33
So, yeah, I just wanted to mention that. I'm sitting in my semi-cleaned room. My host parents ACTUALLY invited me to Grandma's tomorrow. We're having sukiyaki. YES!! :D My host father got drunk tonight after dinner, and started saying really hilarious things. Like, "Wow, Hello Kitty. I mean, seriously. What's up with her? She's a cat...with a face." XDDD I told him that my friend at UMASS really liked Hello Kitty and he was like, "Why? She's a weird looking character." XDDD; I told him that Sanrio rakes in like 3 billion dollars a year on Hello Kitty alone. If she's anything, it's a lucretive business revenue.
Ugh, I need to take a shower, but I don't want to. It's like, getting out of the hot 90 degree shower into your cold 50 degree room is not good times. *shudder* ;-; I'd use my host mother's hair dryer, but last time it started spewing sparks at me. O.o;; I guess I'll just shower in the morning. Meh.
