Melissa VS. The Can
So, I ended up eating lunch today with a bunch of the kids on the floor, Mami, Ken, Thaun, Brian Way, etc. It was pretty fun. But then I walked into town to get some random stuff, and then I took a bus back, and ran into Storer-san on the bus. We talked, and it was fun. Then, when I got back here, it started to get all windy and gross, and my dorm room is really cold, so I crawled into bed...and then napped from four until seven when Sky called. XD;; Jason and I tried to make movie plans after that, but we forgot that Ken was already busy, so it fell through. ;-;
Tomorrow, I have a final and I haven't yet studied. Some random class mate IM'ed me and asked me questions about the readings in the book, that they apparently didn't have. O.o; So, I answered them the best that I could...and then they said, "Wow, you're totally ready to ace this." XD;; I don't want to jinx myself, but I hope so. I'm going to study after this, I think.
But yeah, so I was hungry for dinner since it was 10pm, and I hadn't eaten since lunch. I scrounged around my dorm room and found pasta, butter, and a can of olives. So, I shuffled downstairs to make my food...and while I was cooking the pasta, I tried to open the can of olives. You'd think it would have been easy, right? Nope. Note to self: never buy can opener from the dollar store again. I tried to open the can for about 15 mins, wishing that I had some Popeye super strength and could just squeeze open the can, but no dice. I got a few parts opened, and tried to pry the lid off, but no luck. I gave up and went downstairs to ask for Liz's canopener. ;-; I threw the stupid thing out, after. Stupid dollar store trash. >.>
Anyway, my dinner of pasta, butter, and cut up olives went down pretty well, though. XD; Good for a made up meal, I guess.
Tomorrow I'm buying tickets to go to Japan hopefully, and to go to NYC this weekend. XD; YAY! Spending money is lame, but I'm excited.
And NYC? XD; I get to go and hang out with benjahippie it will be good times. :D I can't wait. Now I have to start looking up fun things to do in NYC. I hope that this week will be fun. ^.^
