"Yo man i hope you dont mind goin home w/o a shit on caus im jackin it" (Security Guard at Stone Pony)
Went to a Streetlight Manifesto show yesterday, it was fuckin insane. We went in with a J and planned on goin out again to smoke it, but then were told that we couldnt come back in if we left so we wer stuck there now knowing that it was only 230 and streetlight wasnt commin on till 9. After the opened up the outdoor stage tho it was still pretty nice.
I was wearing my "FUCK MILK. GOT POT?" shirt which actually proved very usefull. I made friends with a security guard who suggested that if i had anything to smoke to go in one of the portapodies, and introduced me to a bartender named Jimmy who gave me lots of free drinks. So we utilised the facilities and were chilln out then later these two random girls came over and asked me if i had a lighter, so I said yes. they then asked me if i wanted some so i got up and got a few free hits.
Then Streetlight FINALY came on and it was deffinetly worth the wait. They sond better live than they do recorded and there were these huge skanking pits (which roxanne and i manged to stay in without losing eachother in for an hour and a half- everyone else kinda dissapeared) we also managed to open a circle pit but that died after one song. Streetlight also played for about an extra half an hour caus everyone was chanting 'one more song' and they got back on stage and stayed for awhile.
The ride home was allitle tight because we went down in two cars but one broke down so we all had to go up in one but it was still all good, i had shotgun.
