Had a similar tipover on a busstop myself a couple of years ago. Painful, yeah...
But I was lucky enough that I had nearly stopped when I hit the gravel. Also, I wear a complete MC-suit made of very solid waterproof materials, and with plastic 'shields' sewn in the knees and elbows. (Add helmet, padded leather gloves and of course my M77 army boots, and I'm pretty much fully covered)
I have so far only used regular clothes - proper MC-suits do cost a fair amount. When the inheritance process at some time at long last comes to its end, I'll probably get it, though, as I'll have enough money (might try to get an A2-licence, to be able to stay more with the traffic flow).
Two piece, but with a zipper in the back to tie the jacket and pants together if I want.
Bought it at LIDL years ago when they still operated here in Norway, so there's no name on it, really. As it's 6 or 7 years old now, some of the seams in the lining is falling apart, and the waterproofing isn't all that good anymore, I'll probably have to get a new one for next season. (If I don't decide to scrap the scooter altogether. 17K Km isn't all bad for a cheap Chinese scooter. )
