Skirt makin'
I found directions for these really cute twirly skirts and decided to make them for the little girls in the family for christmas. (One day I'd really like to try the T-shirt dresses from the same site.)
For my niece Lily, 7:

For Naomi, almost 2 years (my dad's gf's granddaughter):
Trim detail:
I had to guess at sizes and I think the waist came out a little funky.. next time I will make it bigger so it gathers more. I may make them for my supervisor's daughters as well if I feel motivated this week. (She's also got a daughter named Lily who's 4 and another who's 1) We'll see, since I have another baby blanket I'd like to do and I really need to clean through all the crap piled all around my desk so I've got nice uncluttered space to work in next semester.
