Wow, Doctor Who has had an incredible surge of popularity at MediaWest*Con. I’m not sure what’s behind this, given the revived series has been on for four years now, but I’m not complaining!
FRIDAY
1-2pm, Ballroom A: Whither Doctor Who? How will David Tennant's departure imminent departure affect the show's phenomenal success, and where will new producer Steven Moffat take our favorite lonely Time Lord?
3-4pm, University 2: Sarah Jane Adventures: General discussion
3-4pm, Ballroom A: Torchwood: Jones, Ianto Jones. What makes the "Tea-boy" so appealing?
4-5pm, Ballroom A: Journey's End--Were you satisfied with the way season 4 ended for the Doctor, Donna and Rose? Or did want to wring RTD's neck?
5-6pm, Ballroom A: Turn it up to Eleven: Discussion of the eleven Doctors
9-10pm, University 2: Doctor Who: Astrid to Zoe--Doctor Who companion squee
[Video premiers at 8pm; there was only one DW vid that I recall last year, but given the increase in panels, I expect more at this year’s session.]

2-3pm, University 2: Doctor Who: Donna Noble--Great companion, or the greatest companion ever?
4-5pm, Ballroom B: David Tennant: An appreciation--Let's drool over discuss the amazing actor who played the Doctor. Will Americans ever get to see him in other roles?
9-10pm, University 2: The 11th Doctor--Matt Smith will the youngest actor to play the Doctor. Are you looking forward to his era, or will new Who became Boo Who?

1-2pm, University 3: Doctor Who/Torchwood hurt/comfort fic recs: Share your favorites
1-2pm, Ballroom C: John Barrowman: Torchwood and CDs and books, oh my!
4-5pm, Ballroom D: Doctor Who: The Power of Ten--an overview. General discussion of the Tenth doctor's era. What will you miss most about him, and why?
