Um he also has something very reminiscent of pneumonia. And. Stuff. Oh and um shortly before arriving in Siren's Port, he suffered massive (was supposed to be fatal!!) trauma to his abdomen. Miharu saved his life and closed his wounds, but the remnants of the trauma is still there.
He can have bouts of physical activity when he needs to, but he generally prefers to be stagnant. Moving too much is tiring.

Also, wow, what a dick.) It deepens when he's angry, can get higher when he's upset. It's low, airy, and often subdued-sounding. He can certainly raise it when it's called for, though, and his screaming is pretty crazy.
Also, it's not uncommon for him to sound as though he's about to cough.
2. How does he normally speak? Loud, soft, fast, evenly? Does he talk easily, or does he hesitate? Softly, somewhat slowly. There are times when he hesitates, but it's not an all the time thing. 1. How intelligent is this character? Is he book-smart or street-smart? He has a huge amount of raw intelligence. I'm not sure that this is very easy to realize! But seriously, he's very smart. In his spare time as a child, he did trigonometry and calculus, just for kicks. Despite never having been schooled by anyone but himself. Whaaat. Head canon says that he can't read as well, and it's even harder to read out loud - after all, learning stuff like that is hard if not a single person is helping you out. It took him only a year to learn the Kira technique, which is implied to be very quick timing. And, since it was a 'book' or 'scroll' of knowledge he had to learn it from, he studied language mostly on his own, starting from when he was fourteen. There, he had a little bit more help than he'd had before, but he was still mostly on his own with it.
...That's really smart, guys. :c I mean, considering. Yeah.

1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father - probably is sure that he's dead, actually. Hates him. I'm not sure that Yoite hates his father back, but they're never going to see each other again, so.

He only really 'knew' one of them - Tsukasa, a year younger, and the first person to ever not hate him/be kind to him/l-let him play in the yard. ;_; In fact, it's because of Tsukasa that Yoite is alive; Tsukasa refused to take part in the attempt on Sora's life, and allowed the child to escape.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? He's basically been estranged from his family since birth.

They aren't affectionate towards each other, but Yoite will defend Yukimi even verbally, and they look out for each other right through till the end. So, they bicker and they insult each other, but they're... really close. Even if Yoite's tsundere as all get out.

3. Describe the character's thought process. Is he more logical, or more intuitive? Idealistic or practical? His processing generally involves multiple instances of, 'but if ____, then ____.' He's more irrational than rational. He overthinks things.
4. What kind of education has the character had? Almost completely self-taught. To the point where people didn't read him story books as a child, so while he can recognize words, he can't always read them aloud.
5. What are his areas of expertise? What, if anything, is he interested in learning more about? Math and killing people. Biology, sort of? He wants to keep forwarding himself in math, but he kind of can't, right now.
6. Is he an introvert or an extrovert? One of the most introverted introverts to ever introvert. Even as a child.
7. Describe the character's temperament. Is he even-tempered or does he have mood swings? Cheerful or melancholy? Laid-back or driven? He can be pretty moody. He gets angry easily, and over seemingly small things; he's never cheerful, but he's not exactly always melancholy, either. It's pretty easy to tell he's depressed, though. Usually he's more laid-back than driven, but depending on what it is, he can be quite the little determinator... On the other hand, it's really easy to describe him as just 'a douchebag.'
8. How does he respond to new people or situations? Is he suspicious, relaxed, timid, enthusiastic? Suspicious. I mean, Christ, one of his dislikes is listed as 'people who seem helpful.' A lot of times, his first instinct is to deny assistance. He's more likely to accept help from someone who's not sweet. He's often on his guard, and ends up staring menacingly at people a lot.
9. Is he more likely to act, or to react? It really does depend on the situation. React, I think, though.
10. Which is his default: fight or flight? Again, a coin toss. Um, fight, it seems like...
11. Describe the character's sense of humor. Does he appreciate jokes? Puns? Gallows humor? Bathroom humor? Pranks? What sense of humour. :| But seriously, jokes confuse him more often than not.
12. Does the character have any diagnosable mental disorders? If yes, how does he deal with them? There's no way he's not loaded with almost every kind of post-traumatic stress disorder under the sun. Kid doesn't know how to cope, man.
13. What moments in this character's life have defined him as a person? His father's attempt on his life. Making his promise with Miharu. Meeting Hattori - and, likely his first use of Kira. Um, honestly? His birth. Also, being given the name Yoite.
14. What does he fear? Knives - kitchen knives especially. Um, being murdered. Having his secrets revealed. Being seen without his layers of clothing. Anything bad happening to Miharu. Anything bad happening to Yukimi. Being hurt. Hattori, his Leader. Uh, a whole lot of things, actually - even certain words or phrases can trigger immense fear in him. 'You are a kind child,' said by Hattori, basically caused Yoite to lose his shit.
15. What are his hopes or aspirations? Nnnnnnn to disappear from existence. :/
16. What is something he doesn't want anyone to find out about him? SO MUCH. Um, he doesn't want people to know about the scar on his neck, the state of his body, 'Sora,' his gender status, .....actually, much of his past he'd like to stay quiet. When he's angry or frightened, he blurts things, but otherwise he's tight-lipped about most things involving himself as a child.
Relationships
1. Describe this character's relationship with his parents. His mother died giving birth to him, and his father - probably is sure that he's dead, actually. Hates him. I'm not sure that Yoite hates his father back, but they're never going to see each other again, so.
2. Does the character have any siblings? What is/was their relationship like? A few half-siblings. He only really 'knew' one of them - Tsukasa, a year younger, and the first person to ever not hate him/be kind to him/l-let him play in the yard. ;_; In fact, it's because of Tsukasa that Yoite is alive; Tsukasa refused to take part in the attempt on Sora's life, and allowed the child to escape.
3. Are there other blood relatives to whom he is close? Are there ones he can't stand? He's basically been estranged from his family since birth.
4. Are there other, unrelated people whom he considers part of his family? What are his relationships with them? Yukimi is basically the closest thing to family he has. They aren't affectionate towards each other, but Yoite will defend Yukimi even verbally, and they look out for each other right through till the end. (Yukimi's care for Yoite is such that eventually, he defects from his faction in order to keep Yoite safe. Yoite actually smiles at him, once.)
So, they bicker and they insult each other, but they're... really close. Even if Yoite's tsundere as all get out.
5. Who is/was the character's best friend? How did they meet? Ummm. Miharu? I guess? I mean, if that counts. Um, they- haha. :( Yoite had slaughtered several members of another ninja village, and Miharu (and co.) showed up without knowing that he was there, in order to meet the village's head. Um Yoite kicked a lot of ass, revealed Miharu to be the Shinrabanshou's holder, and was generally a douchebag antagonist.
6. Does he have other close friends? Not really. He has acquaintances whom he 'likes' ... He doesn't really like to make friends.
7. Does he make friends easily, or does he have trouble getting along with people? Hrggghhhh he hates getting along ;~;
8. Which does he consider more important: family or friends? Friends = Miharu, family = GARHGARGH WE HATE YOU. Friends, definitely.
9. Is the character single, married, divorced, widowed? Has he been married more than once? married Single. :|
10. Is he currently in a romantic relationship with someone other than a spouse? N-No?
11. Who was his first crush? Who is his latest? Ahahaha you want to know my weird headcanon? Tsukasa. Tsukasa was the first person who was close to his age and kind to him. Sora, I think, was pretty much like, 'Tsukasa is so nice. I wish I could sit with him.'
DISREGARDING THAT ummm I don't- know- if Miharu... counts as a crush? I mean- Yoite does blush around him. And he gets awkward. And all that stuff. So maybe?

In all seriousness, Miharu-like traits, I think. Really.

Beliefs
1. Do you know your character's astrological (zodiac of choice) sign? How well does he fit type? He's a Sagittarius/Capricorn cusp baby. He actually fits Capricorn well enough, I think!
2. Is this character religious, spiritual, both, or neither? How important are these elements in his life? They're not important to him at all. He used to attend a Christian church, as a child, so he might hold some belief in those things... but it's not like he's pals with Jesus or anything, by any means.
3. Does this character have a personal code of morals or ethics? If so, how did that begin? What would it take to compromise it? He's actually quite amoral, on the 'taking life' front. He says that he's numb to killing - it just doesn't bother him any more. Despite that, he doesn't like to be a bother. Also, if he can't repay you, he doesn't want your help. He can feel bad if he thinks he's deceiving someone, with certain things, too. He believes it's not good to lie about the nature of your personality.
4. How does he regard beliefs that differ from his? Is he tolerant, intolerant, curious, indifferent? Indifferent, unless he thinks you're stupid, in which case he'll probably think your beliefs are stupid, too.

2. What is his social status? Has this changed over time, and if so, how has the change affected him? His social status is 'asocial.' Haha, actually, a surprising amount of people like him... He denies that, though.
3. Where does he live? House, apartment, trailer? Is his home his castle or just a place to crash? What condition is it in? Does he share it with others? Apartmenttttttt, a shared apartment. He likes staying home. He likes familiarity.
4. Besides the basic necessities, what does he spend his money on? OMNOMNOM SO MUCH FOOD ♥
5. What does he do for a living? Is he good at it? Does he enjoy it, or would he rather be doing something else? Assassin :( Test subject :(((( Umm nothing substantial right now, I guess.
6. What are his interests or hobbies? How does he spend his free time? Math! Sleep! Miharu! Those are things he likes and is interested in.
7. What are his eating habits? Does he skip meals, eat out, drink alcohol, avoid certain foods? HE EATS AN INSANE AMOUNT. He eats several servings of his own food. He eats Miharu's leftovers. He eats everything. This is because he cannot taste! When he could taste, though, he really liked chikuzenni. Umm, alcohol wouldn't be a good idea.
