Cold Weather
It's been snowing here yesterday and the night before. Today the temperatures didn't get above 3 degrees. Liam and I parked our cars down at the bottom of the hill, it's covered in snow and ice and will be lethal to drive in the morning.
We stocked up on food this afternoon. The roads into Killorglin were a little slippy in places. They are going to be even more so tomorrow. There wasn't a sign of grit anywhere. By the time we got home (15:00) the temperature was at 0 degrees. Like I said it's very cold here.
Erm I don't have much news. I'm totally obsessed with the weather lately. It's so exciting. I love it. I know it's terribly but i totally want it to snow more.
The one bad side of the weather is that we couldn't get over to Tralee today to buy crickets for yoshi. He only has three left. We were going to stock up on pinkys too just incase the bad weather lasts for a while and we can't get over again.
I do think there will be grit put on the roads tonight. There will be quite a bit of traffic around tomorrow morning as everyone goes off to work.
I'm hillwalking for the next two days, i'm somewhat excited about it. I'm a little apprehensive too thought, I've never lead a group up into the hills covered in snow before. Tomorrow i'm going to be teaching as well a leading. It will be fun though. :)
