1 minute and 35 seconds

May 24, 2008 10:46

It's not too bad, I can hold my breath for 1 minute and 35 seconds.  Before I went travelling I was able to hold it for much longer, well not much longer, a minute and 40 and rarely a minute and 50 seconds.

It's a good thing to practice, I think.  It'll give me an idea of how long i can hold it when kayaking.  Of course the above times would never happen in the wild, they are times in the comfort of a lovely warm bath.  Cold water on your head is a bit more of a shock.

I have absolutely nothing to do today.  I'm sure i'll find something to pass my time but right now it's a big blank.  I'm the only person up, the rest of my family is still in bed.  The sun is shining though so that at least is good.  I might go for a walk or a cycle.  Or I could take my book out into the garden and relax sitting in the sun with a million layers on.  It's a little chilly, the sun is warm but there is a cold wind blowing.  I was going to do a poll wasn't I.  Right here goes, given the lovely weather of today:

news, weather, games and sports
