So...I'm home. Have been for nearly two weeks, actually, not that you could tell by my livejournal.
Nothing terribly exciting going on here, although I am happy to announce that my tuition for this year is finally paid. Not that it wasn't paid before--they've got those pesky deadlines--but the 50% of my tuition/room and board/transportation costs/what have you for which I am responsible is finally paid back to my parents, mostly because I've been working full-time over the last week and a half. And I even have some money left over. Which will, of course, go straight to the bank to pay for next year's tuition, etc. I'm also saving for travel while I'm in Europe, though, so at least some of this is going to pleasure spending.
At the moment, I'm waiting for dinner. I've been cooking a lot over the last few days, mostly chocolate chip cookies (some of which went to
quinnjleonard & Co.), but at the moment it's shrimp and pasta, which smells wonderfully of garlic and herbs and olive oil. Mmm. This is a good smell.
