I'm...OK. Not bad, not great. David's still a nervous wreck over his job situation, tho I think he's going to land a new one any day now. He tends to be rather "dramatic" about these things. I've been fairly busy here at work, between newsletters, posters, and decorating for the holiday, they're keeping me on my toes. I just painted a Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer to put in the lobby here at work. The only thing is, after all the decorating I do here, I dont want to do any of it at home! But, I think we're putting up the tree this weekend. I dread having to do it, as it takes HOURS, but it IS a pretty tree, and we have a lot of pretty ornaments, and they are rather diversified. We have Victorian, Disney characters, Barbie, animals, and David found these great heavy cardboard ornaments of classic Hollywood actresses (they look like the old fashioned paper dolls) of Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, Barbara Stanwyck, Claudette Colbert, Carmen Miranda, Sonia Henie, Hedy Lamarr, etc.
Took a look at my long-awaited DVD of Michael Powell's "The Tales of Hoffmann" last night. I love that film. It's not for everyone's taste, that's for sure, but the music is wonderful, and it's very bizarre and surreal. And infinitely more entertaining than that awful "Moulin Rouge" that was inflicted on audiences a few years ago!
