I signed up for enough classes to get all of my paperwork going for financial aid and whatnot, and finally saw the comparison between my tuition and my loans.
Uhhh.
I started to freak out because yes, I can cover tuition plus some, but not nearly enough to live on. I was afraid I might have to give up on a good, nonpaying internship just to work some crap food service gig. I figured I was between 1 and 2 grand short per quarter, which seemed about right because FAFSA had estimated I could pay 6,000 (procured from my ass, apparently).
THEN. I realized that they had included the student insurance for the year, all in one fell swoop. So I'm only short 1740 for the YEAR, not every quarter, and that I'm pretty sure I can manage.
In other news, I'm trying to buy a loft bed, but if I can't find one by tomorrow I might just buy lumber and capitalize on the fact that I have roommates experienced with building shit. 8-foot 2x4s for $1 a piece? Tempting... tempting...
