My roommate just offered me a free 3-day pass to
PAX and I turned it down, because I don't know anybody else who would want to go. It might be fun if I'd played more than 6 games in my lifetime, or played tabletop, or read
Penny Arcade, etc. Plus being alone in a crowd of 30,000 gamers doesn't actually appeal, shockingly. I don't think the
guys I used to work with are going to be there, so ... meh.
Though I am the supreme geek of the house, having reconfigured the wireless router, corrected the modem hookup, and fixed the TV remote control all within a 12 hour period. Live-in tech support, that is me. I had to live without the intarwebs last night, so I ended up re-installing SolidWorks on the new hard drive and making a partial model of the platform bed I want to build. I forgot how stupid the mates are when assembling parts.
Time to make beer bread and play Soul Calibur, I think. Or go grocery shopping with Nicole. Something.
