Arthur has vanished. His manservant is missing as well. I'd like to believe they have run away for a lark, followed a stag, or set off on another of their misguided missions of mercy, but my instincts tell me otherwise. It has been too long. Parties of knights sent out to search for them have found nothing, despite ever expanding searches, and I grow increasingly concerned.

Where could he be?

I know I have neglected my responsibilities and have been short with everybody, servants and courtiers alike. Gaius has tried to talk to me on several occasions, but I will not be disturbed from my vigil on the battlements. I cannot quell my anxieties about what has happened to Arthur, and the lack of progress each time a search party returns only increases my irascibility.
