Books in 2008

As I watch very few movies and am also very bad at keeping track of what television episodes I watch, I'm only listing books this year. Maybe in 2009 I'll start off more organized :)

If you have any recommendations for what I should read next, please feel free to share them here :)

...I've never read anything by Agatha Christie.

*le gasp* Well then you certainly must check out some of her books...she's the queen of crime! And yes, The Hollow is a good one of hers. I liked that it (unlike many murder mysteries out there) it dealt almost more with the characters and their back stories than with the crime itself.

So far I've only read the first two Sisterhood books.....I liked them both, but I think at this point the first is still my fav. I'm trying to read the rest of the series before the second movie comes out, as I hear it's going to combine the last three books.

Funny you should bring up The Book Thief. When you first recommended it (what was that, a year and a half ago?) I got it from the library and got started reading it. I was really intrigued by it, but as it was during the school year I was crazy busy and just didn't get further than the first few chapters before I had to return it to the library. BUT! My parents gave it to me for my birthday last month and so as soon as I finish the other few books I'm in the midst of, I'm going to read it! And I'm really looking forward to it :)
