REQUEST!I'm looking to add some new music to my library to really crank up my workout routine. So I'm hoping you would all be willing to contribute some ideas. Leave a comment with your 5 (or 10, or 20, how ever many you want/have) favorite pump-it-up songs. If you have download links that would be especially awesome. In return, I will upload my 25

-gestures at your Current Music- Anything from that musical is particularly good, as are most overly-synthesized things (recently I discovered DJ Sammy's "Heaven", but your basically cheesy "Listen to Your Heart" from DHT is also good). Paramore is another good one...gads, my mind is going blank. "
Okay, lets be coherent here: "Heaven" (DJ Sammy), "Listen to Your Heart" (DHT), "That's What You Get" (Paramore), "Sharada" (Skye Sweetnam), anything by Hawk Nelson or Skillet, "Always Late" (Fall Out Boy), "The Secret's in the Telling" (Dashboard Confessional), "Hero/Heroine" (Boys Like Girls), "Your Guardian Angel" (Red Jumpsuit Apparatus) and...."Electric Storm" (Delta Goodrem).
That's about ten, eh? Hope you find some that PUMP YOU UP!! WOO!!
Heee. :3

Music, huh?
I can't provide you with links because I am not allowed to download music, being the good little kid I am.
BUT, my favorites include:
-Pretty much anything by 'My Chemical Romance'
-"Technologic" and "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" by Daft Punk (OMG YESSSSS!!! BEST ONE BY FAR IN THIS LIST!!!!)
-Fighter X's music, yet he is a local band and personal friend of mine... his myspace has some of his music.... i think...
-FREEZEPOP!!!! YAYAAAA!!!
-'Motion City Soundtrack' isn't too shabby, especially "Everything is Alright" and "My Favorite Accident"
I know I have more, yet my iPod is on the fritz...so yeah.

I listen to a pretty wide variety of stuff so here's a few that are on my "pre-audition jam" mix which doubles as a workout soundtrack...
-No Bad News-Patty Griffin
-Gimme a Chance-Plain White Ts
-Change your Mind-The Killers (I suspect Somebody Told Me would also work well)
-Change your Mind-All-American Rejects
-I've Just Seen A Face-I can't remember if it's the Beatles version or the Across the Universe version, as I have both)
-Ladies' Choice-Hairspray movie soundtrack (I don't know about you, but this song just makes me want to dance) :D
-One Last Drink-Enter the Haggis (dunno where you stand on Celtic music, but they're a great Celtic rock group out of Canada of all places, and far better live than on any of their cds!)
I also second the recommendation for "Harder Better Faster Stronger" by Daft Punk. :)
