House Fire
Jesus Christ! The house across the road behind my house has just burnt down. At about 00:30 I could smell burning in my room. At first I thought it was my DVD player which I had just turned on, but when I looked out my window I realised that the house across the road was ablaze. The flames were so high, about 7 foot high out the roof. The fire quickly spread to the houses either side of the burning house. Several fire engines soon arrived and they started putting out the fire but it took them about an hour to do so. Laura and I joined several of our neighbours outside to watch the burning from across the road (I was hoping to see some sexy firemen but they were too far away). I recorded some of it on my phone, but I want to find out if anybody died before I think about putting it on YouTube because it would be quite inappropriate if they did. No ambulances turned up so I don't think anyone was hurt. I hope nobody was living in the houses because it must be awful for all your possessions and memories to go up in flame like that.
Me and Laura came back inside when the crowd disappeared, but there are now two drunken knob heads singing out of their window at the height of their voices.
