haydn82 has informed us of a new Windows Live program:
Windows Live Writer. It's a blogging program that allows you to update your blogs, and it works with LiveJournal. Although I'm perfectly happy updating my journal via Mozilla Firefox I was tempted to give this new program a try, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work on my computer. It's only a Beta version, so maybe it'll work with later versions, but I was wondering if anyone else has a similar problem or knows how I could resolve it?
When installing the program I get the following error message:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\ngen.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
Despite this error message I am told that I have successfully installed Windows Live Writer (Beta). However, when I try and launch the program the following error message will appear:
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
Runtime Error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Windows Live Writer\WindowsLiveWriter.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I cannot run the application. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but the same thing happens each time. It's probably more likely to be a problem with my PC rather than Windows Live Writer, but does anyone have any ideas?
Anyways, I was supposed to be going to the cinema last night with Jack and a few friends to see John Tucker Must Die, but plans fell through so I went to my friend Harley's instead. We had a good night, but didn't get much sleep so I'm pretty tired now. Kickboxing was pretty hard with my lack of sleep. I'll need an early night to catch up because I'm babysitting my little cousin Jack tomorrow.
