Shitty Day!!
Yesterday was, erm, kinda weird to be honest. The day started off alright. After uni I had a few drinks with my friend Penny in the Student Union because it's her 30th Birthday on Sunday. I then went for a quick shop in town, it was full of cute guys so I had a good perv hehe! I also watched some fit firemen run into Next (I think there was a fire, the shop evacuated and there was even smoke!!).
In the evening I was going out to town for James' 21st Birthday (Happy Birthday James, by the way!!) but on the way I had a big argument with my mum in the car. To be honest I can't really remember what started it off, but it was something stupid. My mum started accusing me of lying, and was making out that I always lie and deceive. When I argued that I don't lie, she snapped back at me making out that I always lie, and used my sexuality as an example of deceiving her when I was in the closet. It was totally out of the blue, and the way she said it was really nasty. I now know she's not as comfortable with my sexuality as I thought she was. There is a clear difference between lying and being "in the closet" and her comment was totally uncalled for.
So I arrived at James' pissed off, but I tried not to let it show. I was upset about my mum, but it was nothing a good night out wouldn't cure. I was all geared up for a good night out, it's just a shame it didn't quite go as well as I hoped. Well it started off good, I got to meet loads of people at James' house party, we then got taxis to The Lisbon and we also went to Superstar Boudoir. Its when we moved onto The Krazyhouse that things happened that made the night go tits up.
Anyways, I got back to James' about 3:00am and stayed the night there.
Since I got home this afternoon my mum's been all cheerful and happy to me like nothing's happened. I think she's ashamed about what she said, but she's not mentioned anything, and I've just stayed in my room all day keeping out of her way.
My Red Dwarf VIII DVDs came though the post today though, so that's cheered me up a little :o) The extras are superb, as usual!
My mum's off babysitting my little cousin Jack, so I have the house all to myself. I might have a mini one-man party, I had such a ball last time I did it, hehe.
