A trip down memory lane...
What a tiring day it was in school today. The children had a class trip to the Whiston City Learning Centre (CLC). The CLC just happens to be part of my old secondary school, Higher Side. It was so strange stepping back into Higher Side, but this time as a teacher. It's like I was there just yesterday. Is it strange that I miss it? Unfortunately I didn't see any of my old teachers, but I did recognise a few faces around. Wow, what a trip down memory lane!
Donna, one of the girls from kickboxing, is a pupil at Higher Side and she saw me in School. She came over to say hello, so I had to quickly tell her "I'm Mr. Pendleton today" before she called me by my first name.
Tomorrow I may also be going back to my old Primary school. The headmaster, Mr. Rowlings, e-mailed my sister today (through work related matters) and mentioned that there was a picture of me on the wall in the reception (yes, it's this shameful picture). Well the school has been redecorated and the picture has finally be taken down, but he asked my sister if I would like to keep it as a memento, so tomorrow I might be popping back into Halsnead School for the first time since 1997 to pick it up. I can't believe it's been up there for nine years! I can't believe Mr. Rowlings still remembers me, I can't wait to speak to him and tell him that I'm a student teacher.
I haven't done a meme in such a long time. To be honest I can't stand the bloody things, but I was bored so decided to do this one because I was impressed with iquestion's answers.
