Almost over

It's hard to believe that I only have eight days of school left. Next Thursday, the 22nd, I graduate from year 12. Then I have three weeks holiday, then HSC and then I'm finished with high school forever. I already know that I'm going to miss it. I'm going to miss seeing everyone every day. Some of those people I've been seeing every week day for thirteen years. Everything is just going to be so different. I've reached the end of a part of my life.

High school feels like it's flown by without my even noticing. My first day of year 7 doesn't feel like it was five and a half years ago. Everything has suddenly snuck up on me. I just really can't believe that in just over a week I'm graduating. It feels so not real.

But anyway, what else have I been doing? A lot of school work. Me and mum went to the COFA Spring Fair on Saturday and it was great. It is definitely where I want to be next year. After one of the seminars we attended about artists and art galleries mum began to sound really concerned and asked if this was really what I wanted to do. I couldn't help but laugh thinking that it had finally hit her just how hard it was going to be to establish myself as an artist.

Also did some writing on Saturday and Sunday night. Forced myself to keep going with Chapter 32 of Unknown and now I've really gotten into it again. It's flowing naturally once more. Now 64% complete. I'm determined to have it finished by the start of school holidays hopefully.
