Jury duty and other things

You know what's fun about having hazel eyes? My eyes change colour. They always have, though for the most part I don't really notice it. But today one of the women at work commented on my eyes. She asked me if I was wearing contacts. At which point I was a little confused, lol. And Anne was looking really closely at my eyes, and told me they looked really green. Which is when it clicked for me and I explained that my eyes have a tendency to change colour. Sometimes they're more brown, sometimes more blue. Though today was the first time I had seen them become such a clear green colour.

I don't know if this happens to everyone with hazel eyes, though I know my Mum's do too. :) *shrugs*

On Tuesday I had to go into the court house in the Downing Centre (in the city) since I'd been called up to do jury duty. Ended up sitting down there for almost three hours while I was waiting to get excused. As much as I really wanted to do it, the trial I was assigned to was expected to run for eight weeks, and there's no way I can serve that long. I bet it would've been a really interesting one too: an eight week criminal trial. Oh well.

Now I've just got my fingers crossed that maybe I'll get called up again during summer so that I'll finally be able to do it this time. :)

Had a French test on Wednesday. I've done hardly any work on French so far this semester (which I'm slowly trying to rectify), and so I ended up just winging the exam. I think I passed but definitely not with flying colours. *sighs* Just going to have to start put a lot more work into it again like I did last semester.

Do you ever pull up next to another car, and you glance over at that other car, and you see the driver inside singing along and dancing in their seat because they're alone and they forgot that other people can actually still see them? That's me, lol. Every time I pull up to a red light I pull out the dance moves and the air guitar and the drum solo. Got caught doing it again the other night. What I don't get though is why people continue to stare at you when you do it. When I see other people doing it I don't continue to watch them. *shakes head*

Anyway... that was rambly. :D
