relaxing...
Had a day off today which was nice. Monday and Tuesday were crazy busy at work, and both were horrible days which turned out well in the end.
On Monday I happened to run into Michaela when I went down to buy lunch just after two o'clock, so she sat down with me for ten minutes while I eat since she was waiting for Jaime to arrive. And then I ran into Jaime and Nat as I was heading back up to Shoes & Sox. I wasn't particularly happy, lol, since all I wanted to do was hang out with my friends rather than having to return to work. Luckily though we hit a lull and the shop went completely dead at about three o'clock so Kay said one of us could go home. Of course I jumped at the chance and ran downstairs. I was just in time to see the girls coming out of the coffee shop. So the four walked around Eastgardens for a couple of hours. Was fun. I felt like I was a teenager again :)
Tuesday was really busy as well (didn't get time to have lunch *sigh*) but somehow we actually managed to get out on time. Amazingly. My uncle and cousin were down in Sydney yesterday as well so we all went out to dinner which was great. Turned out to be a really good night after the crappy day.
So that's three shifts down with another nineteen to go. Can't wait for January to be over.
