The weekend has been a fail NaNo-wise. Was just way too busy:
Spent from 9am till 4:30pm at dancing (had dress rehearsal in the afternoon). Then spent an hour with Dad when I got home as I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks. And then got ready for dinner and met the girls down at the Doncaster (very fun night, very amusing all round). Got home at 11:30pm so ended up with only about twenty minutes to write.
Then today I worked all day and then came over to Mum's. Did manage a little though, which is better than nothing.

Excerpt: Li wakes up Justin.
“I'm going to have a shower,” he announced. “Wake up wolf-boy would you?”
I nodded as Zach left the dorm room. Glancing over at Justin, I saw that he was still fast asleep, his leg twitching beneath the sheet. With a loud snore he twisted onto his side. I smirked as an idea came to me.
I snatched my iPod from my bedside table and knelt down next to Justin's bed. Carefully I slipped the earbuds into his ears and started searching through the songs. I stopped when I came to Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like the Wolf'. I've never been a big Duran Duran fan, not even back in the 80s when they were popular. I do however quite like 'Hungry Like the Wolf'. I turned the volume up and pressed play.
Quote of the Day:
Zach: [to Li] Glad you're able to recognise the dickhead gene which does occassionally pop up in you. [blinks then grimaces] Did that sound as wrong and dirty to you as it did to me?
