stuff that's happened that I didn't get around to updating about

Saturday 7th: This turned into another of mine and Jai's odd nights. We were going out into the city for Mardi Gras. So first Jai, Alex and Szanto picked me up from Nan's and we drove to Alex's house where Alex ate and got changed. Then we drove to Szanto's place and he also proceeded to eat and get changed. We walked up the road so that we could get the train from Newtown into the city. So we sat at Newtown station for ages and ages since it took forever for the train to come. When we did get into the city, the four of us ended up going to a random pub (Sweeney's I think it was called) and sitting and drinking in their pokies room. There was an instant coffee machine so Alex and Szanto kept drinking coffee and hot chocolates. We then headed to Star Bar for lack of anywhere else to go. It ended up being an amusing night thanks to its general oddness.

Sunday 8th: Went to dinner with Jai and Kyra at one of the Thai places at Mascot. Was nice, casual dinner.

Monday 16th: MY 21ST BIRTHDAY! :D Had a good day. It was very slow at work, so I pretty much spent the whole time reading The Taming of the Shrew. Then afterwards had dinner down at the Doncaster with Mum, Michael, Nan and Pop. So far for my birthday I've gotten $610 (from various people) as well a handbag and picture with the meaning of my name off Nan. And from Michael and Mum I got a gorgeous Royal Doulton figurine named Samantha. She's so pretty!

So yeah, big party on Friday night which I'm very much looking forward to :D

There's one more thing I need to comment on (Friday the 13th) but I'll post about that tomorrow.
