A Doctor's work is never done...

Doctor Who 3x01 Smith and Jones
I like Martha I have decided. *nods* I liked her from the get go. Rose will still be my favourite companion, and Sarah-Jane is a very close second, but I already like Martha more than I liked Jo.
Martha's smart. And... spunky. *nods* Yeah, she's got spunk.
The episode as a whole was fun. The Doctor once again passing himself off as John Smith. I don't know why but I find it very amusing when he does that... hmm... I liked in the end up when he invites Martha on board, he specifically told her that she wasn't replacing Rose, and that she got one trip as a thank you for saving his life, and that was it. Of course it won't be. But I found it interesting that he said that, it's obvious that he thinks he's not ready to take on an actual companion.
I wonder if the Doctor will do domestic with Martha like he did with Rose... I don't think he will. He let himself get that close with Rose and I doubt he'll be willing to get so close again. Put himself in the position to be hurt again. So I don't think he'll do domestic again for quite awhile. Then again I could always be wrong...
But anyway, yeah, great episode, and a good introduction to Martha. Looking forward to the next episode :)
I had a nap this afternoon for a couple of hours after watching I Capture the Castle. Usually I feel really good after a nap, nice and reenergised. But today all I got for it was a headache. How do you get a headache from sleeping? It still hurts a bit as well. Just this dull pain that's bothering me. It's not really anything bad now, it's just this annoyance. *pouts*
I have to open the shop tomorrow by myself. First time I've done that... hmm. Personally I think I'd rather stay home and sleep in. Oh well. Work's work and I have to do it if I want money. *sigh* I really wish money grew on trees :)
Anyway... will go now. Get sleep and all that.
