*sigh* I am tired. Well today was like any other day, except at 6:30, I had soccer practice for the Bluegrass Games. I love soccer, but I hadn’t been to a practice in 2 weeks because of vacation and such. And practice actually wasn’t that bad! Only 6 out of 18 people on my team came to practice, because most of them were at camp or high school soccer tryouts or vacation. So we didn’t do much, just drills, and a few games of World Cup. Matthew’s team (Mr. Becker’s team) had practice at the same field as us, so we were supposed to get half of the field and his team was supposed to get the other half. Our practice started at 6:30, and their practice started at 7. But when we got to the field, there was already a u-10 boy’s team practicing. Coach Bart said that they weren’t supposed to be there, since we had used the field for 2 years and Mr. Becker was already supposed to be using the other half. So Bart went over to the coaches and explained to them what was going on, so we us our got half of the field, Mr. Becker’s team got about a third, and the other team used a part of the field and a part behind it. Around 7:30, Suzie left and then Alex left around 7:45. Before they left, Coach Bart gave us our shirts for Bluegrass. I wasn’t there the week they picked the numbers and the color of the shirts and such. They were pink. Gross. I hate pink. Oh well. Nothing I can do about it. On the front, it said BLUEJAYS and under it was a flaming soccer ball. It was pretty cool. On the back was VILLAREAL then under it was the number 4. I would have liked 3, since it’s my lucky number, but he said somebody already took it. Well then I would have resorted to 33, but oh well. *shrugs* What’s done is done. Then we let Mr. Becker use our half of the field, since we had 4 kids and they had around 13and their practice ended at 8:30 and ours ended at 8. Nick Blank was assistant coaching, even though he’s still in high school. He is AWESOME at soccer. It’s scary. Hahaha. Brian Becker was there too, just practicing along with the little kids. And then I saw John Hayden, which surprised me because even though his 2 brothers are on the team, his dad and mom aren’t the coaches or anything. He was just walking around, fooling around with the kids or just watching. After my practice was over, I got Michael (who was sitting on the hill) and we went over to John who was standing close to the woods, which was around 50 feet behind the goal. When we got there, he was like, “STAY BACK!” And we were like, Oookayy….. But he explained that his brother Chad was going to the bathroom. Hahahahahaha!!! Then we started joking around how he was probably going to use a leaf for toilet paper and how it would probably be a poison ivy leaf. Hehehe. Chad was in there for about 5 minutes then he went back to the field. 5 minutes later, he was back in the woods. John figured he was constipated. We just talked for awhile, about everything and nothing, then practice was over and we walked back to the hill where all the kids and parents and coaches were gathering. Then Mark Becker ran down the hill, and he was decked out in soccer gear, so I guess he was having practice up the hill on the field on the other side of Cline Elementary. I said hi but I accidentally almost called him Brian, and he jokingly said, “Yeah I get that a lot, people confuse me and him.” Which was pretty funny because Brian is 12 and mark is like 15 and they look nothing alike. Then we went home, and I ate fried chicken and Hawaiian Bread (YUUUUMMMMMM!!!). After that my dad made us pack for Bluegrass since we’re leaving tomorrow when he gets home from work. I still haven’t packed… heh heh heh. I’ll pack later. ^_^ As I always say, Why do something today when it can be put off until tomorrow? Heh…maybe that’s why I didn’t do so well in Math…
