Moved in!

The New A is one of the first bars I fell in love with when I first moved here, and it still remains my favorite bar in Dallas. I've taken many a date there--it's a sure bet, especially on the weekdays, where the crowds are quite manageable. It's one of the few places where I'm guaranteed to like at least half the music that plays in the background.
So check this out: it was at the New A that my ex and I met, and it was also there where we both agreed to be an exclusive couple. It was a wonderful night, knowing your passions were mutually shared and that you were on the same page.
Well over a year later, when the breakup happened, I went to the bar with a friend. The table that my ex and I first met was still there--but the couch where we agreed to be exclusive had been replaced. After I headed out to my car, I saw two people making out passionately right in front of it! As I got closer, I realized that it wasn't my car, but an identical silver Saab that was parked right in front of mine. The symbolism was inescapable.
