Operation Barbossa - was the code name used by Nazi Army for the invasion of Soviet Union during WWII. Did you know that the name Barbossa came after a king of Germany called Frederick I, also know Frederick Barbossa for his red beard? He was crowned as Holy Roman Emperor in 1155 althought it was after the might of Roman Empire and in Germany. So as Voltaire described it as "neither Holly, nor Roman, nor an Empire". I didnt know about the red beard trivia.
