Christmas
So ive been really busy for the last week so i didnt end up posting my "christmas was awsome heres what i got" post... so here it is...
Christmas this year was pretty good... a little different but still nice. Early evening on Friday Kurt came over and gave me a walking staff he had prepared... It was very nice... the wood ended up being almost pure white and it just looked great... That night i went bowling with april, josh, and meg. They were all drinking, and by the end of the night josh and meg were pretty slammed... april was just past buzzed i think... but anyway, it was a bunch of fun. I did learn that you get a much better reaction from somebody who is drunk when you give a present. lol... anyway, we went to josh and aprils and hung out for a while. Meg and i finally headed back to my apartment to get some sleep before i took meg back to her car in the morning. It was a really great night.
Saturday me and meg got up early (about 11 i think lol) and i took her back to the bowling alley so she could get her car and go home. I went home for a little while after that to finish wrapping all my presents. Finally got done Meg called and asked if i wanted to go pick up a couple things with her. Of course i did, there was a few things but one thing is we needed to get a jumper ring to replace the one that had fallen off the necklace i got her. Anyway, after that i took meg back home and went to my parents' about 4 or 5. We had enchiladas and spanish rice for dinner... very tasty! We ended up deciding to open our presents that night instead of christmas morning, so after dinner we started unwrapping stuff, I ended up with some very nice stuff. The highlight was a plaque type thing with two dragons holding like a celtic patterned medallion, and the whole thing was shaped like to be hung over a door. I also got three t-shirts with different electronics themes, and a kit to learn to play the harmonica. (i also got $100 from my grandparents and a very nice handmade fleece blanket from Meg, but i had those earlier in the week). Anyway, i decided to head home after that. When i got to my car i gave Meg a call and she asked me to come over for a bit, and of course i did, started falling asleep watching her play a game after about an hour or so and so i decided to go home and actually go to bed.
Sunday i went over to my parents house at about 11:30 i think... We had our traditional breakfast strata. I love that thing, but i think i ate too much or something cause i felt nausous all night. Im sure eating candy for the 45 minutes we were opening stockings didnt help that though... Anyway, the Taskeys came over after a bit and they gave us all presents... i got a tin of cashew roca... that stuff is the devil, i ate half the can on monday, but anyway. After that we played a few games and things, they had some food and i munched a little but couldnt get myself to eat much. That was pretty much sunday, not too exciting, but still nice.
Monday i went to borders and got some dvd's with the money from my grandparents. Was hoping Meg would come watch them with me but her phone was dead so i couldnt get ahold of her. Pretty much putzed monday away other then that.
