Magical Music

I havent posted in a few days. Theres been nothing too out of the ordinary, friday was friday, saturday i saw Brandi and talked to her for a while and i loved it, and sunday was sunday. So i decided to do one of those random opinion type posts that i never do, just cause i was thinking about it on my way into work today.

So, I was listening to "The Man Without Fear" on my way to work this morning. Its a song by Rob Zombie and is from the Daredevil sound track. I love the song... it makes me feel energized and powerful. My former co-worker said she didnt like listening to Metallica because thats how she felt while listening to them. But isnt that the point of good music? Arent you supposed to get goosebumps the first time you listen to a song?

I know every time i listen to "The Man Without Fear" or "Brain Stew" i have this wave come over me and then a rush of adrenaline. Or when i listen to "Carol of the Bells" it just gives me this warm tingly feeling all over, like im going to burst with good feelings. Hell, there was even a group at last year's blues festival that played a couple songs that for some reason got me so incredibly turned on. They didnt have words and there wasnt any women on stage, it was just the visceral thrumming of the dijeridoo that somehow struck a cord in me, at least i think it was the dijeridoo, cause it was the only unusual instrument up there.

Anyway, i was just thinking about how all the most incredible songs ive heard brought out my emotions, and thought id say to anybody out there that might not like it... Thats the point!

PS - You know you can leave a comment if you want to on my posts right Brandi?
