Illyria tilted her head to the side, considering Marcus Hamilton’s words. “For this to work I will have to lie to Wesley, correct?”
Hamilton grinned a catlike smirk. “For this to work you’ll have to kill Mr. Wyndham-Pryce. Along with Angel and Spike and all of the other members of ‘Team Angel.’ Is that a problem?”
“It would not be hard to kill them all.”
“So are you willing to do it?”
Illyria firmly met Hamilton’s gaze. “No.”
“Well, then,” he replied, casually rolling up his sleeves. “I’m afraid you’ll have to die instead then.”
